When we do not know how some mechanical or scientific device works many times a working example is located and "reverse engineered." Even today this technique is used by some unscrupulous companies from countries to steal technology. They through whatever means get their hands on a working copy and then dismantle it to see how it works and make engineering drawings of the parts so they may produce them without paying royalties to the developer/owner.

This technique was used extensively during WWll and afterwards to gain knowledge of the advanced German war machines such as jet aircraft and rockets. The United States went to great lengths to get their hands on working examples of aircraft and rockets to see how they were made and what made them work. The U.S. scientist's and engineers did not have the knowledge and wanted to find out. In the end, through these efforts, our technology was jump started with a leap in performance and ability. The gains were significant in the U.S. space effort's for with the German engineer Wernher Von Braun who came to work in the U.S. after the war, we were able to build rockets to get to space and to the moon. This "capture and reverse engineer" technique was also used during the "Cold War" between Russia and the U.S., for both were concerned about any advantage the other side may have had in technology. Well known examples regarding aircraft and submarines have been cited in movies and the media.

Let us get back to Intelligent Design for a moment. Molecular Biologists and genetic/DNA Research Scientists from all over the world are feverishly working to unravel and decipher just how these microscopic "building blocks" of man work. They are trying to put together the complete human gnome and are working with fetal tissue and stem cells. They are also doing cloning of animals and now we hear that they are also attempting cloning of humans. Do you know why they are doing this research? There is a very simple reason; THE SCIENTISTS DO NOT YET KNOW HOW IT ALL WORKS.

The very plain fact before us, is that, yes, it does work, joining a human egg with a human sperm will grow into a perfect human being. This detailed and infinitely complex order of genes and DNA works perfectly just as it is, yet many still believe it to be accidental.

Scientist's would never accept the idea that the very complex engineering of the space shuttle to be the result of a random accident and yet they DO believe that human biology so complex that they do not yet comprehend it, IS an accident.

We see in the news today that Apple Inc's newest tech. device, the iPhone which was just released for sale to the public are already being dismantled by many to reverse engineer it and see what components it is made with and how it works. The engineer's and scientist's will easily do this, for it is within their ability to understand this kind of science. However, as you have read above, todays scientists are unable to create even the most tiny or simple creature and give it "life" even with all the reverse engineering they are doing with genes and DNA.
